Echizen-Keramik gehört zu den Sechs Alten Öfen Japans und hat eine entsprechend lange Geschichte. Das Ehepaar Kondô stellt mithilfe natürlicher Zutaten aus der Region Teekeramik her, die einen besonders rustikalen Charme hat.

Als ich im Mai in Japan war habe ich das Ehepaar getroffen. Wir verbrachten mehrere Stunden zusammen, wir tranken Tee und aus dieser Begegnung ist letztlich dieser Artikel entstanden.
